Public Policy Development, Science, Technology, Policy Analysis, Government, Program Evaluation, Entrepreneurship, Gender Development, and Strategic Planning.

Co-founder, Director & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kleos Technologies Sdn Bhd
After co-founding the company in April 2022:
26th February 2023: Meet up with Women-In-Tech Malaysian Chapter.
21st February 2023: Womenomics recording by Sahabat Qitmir on the topic: Women Leadership
9th November 2022: Start of partnership with ASCA, an ARMOR Group Company based in Germany.
1st July 2022: The establishment of Kleos Technologies’ Office space at Tamarind Square, Cyberjaya, Selangor, Malaysia.
18th August 2022: An MoU was signed with Infinity Energy Co. Ltd. of Korea, for Kleos Technologies Sdn. Bhd. to be, the sole distributor of the Organic Photovoltaic (OPV), transparent Solar Film in Malaysia.
September 2022: various engagements with the Ministry of Energy & Environmental Sustainability Sarawak, and other government agencies on their interests in our products and services.

Subject Matter Expert (SME)
ELITE@UM FELLOW at the University of Malaya – the ELITE – Experiential Learning by Industry and Technocrat offers UM Alumni to share experiences and abilities with the students and support the University by strengthening their mission in pushing boundaries of knowledge and nurturing aspiring leaders. Appointed as:
an ELITE@UM Fellow, attached to the Department of Science & Technology Studies, Faculty of Science (1st December 2021 – 31st November 2022); and
gave 6 hours of lectures to the students of the faculty.
Evaluator for the APPGM-SDG Evaluation Programs – this program is the collaboration between the Persatuan Sains Sosial Malaysia (PSSM), Institut Kajian Malaysia dan Antarabangsa (IKMAS), UKM and the My SDG Academic Network. The program is funded by the All-Party Parliamentary Group Malaysia on Sustainable Development Goals (APPGM-SDG). Appointed as:
an Evaluator for the study Localizing SDGs: Monitoring and Evaluation with a Gender Focus of Sustainable Development Goals (MEG-SDG) (1st of January 2021 – 31st March 2021); and
an Evaluator for the APPGM Impact Evaluation Program (15th October 2021 – 14th December 2021

Senior Principal Assistant Secretary (M52) @ National Science, Technology, and Innovation Policy (NSTIP) Unit, Strategic Planning Division – Involved in the development and implementation of the NSTIP and all other related science and technology policies and regulations, including energy and environment-related policies, action plans and regulations. Appointed as:
the Enterprise Architecture (EA) Champion by MAMPU.
the National Contact Point (NCP) for the OECD STIP Survey 2021 on behalf of MOSTI.
Member of the Technical Working Committee (TWC) and National Steering Committee (NSC) of the Orang Asli Micro-Grant Facility by UNDP Malaysia.
Member of the Steering Committee for Integration of STEM Skills into TVET Training Project with UM STEM Centre (UM-ILO-UK Partnership).
Achievements:
Coordinated with 16 various Ministries and Federal Agencies and all MOSTI’s divisions and agencies in preparing Malaysia’s input for the OECD STIP Survey 2021.
Developed an online monitoring system for the NSTIP.
Provided vital input on the national STI agenda in various policy and regulations development such as those involving the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI); Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development (MWFCD) and Ministry of Education (MOE), Malaysia.
Actively participated in the “Workshop on Science, Technology and Innovation Policies for Sustainable Development in the Fourth Industrial Revolution” (the Republic of Korea, 19-22nd March 2019); and
Attended the training course on “UN in a Nutshell: Introduction to the Structure and Functions of the United Nations System” (ILKAP, Selangor, 16th April 2019).
Successfully participated in the Review, and drafting of a new Malaysia’s National Policy on Science, Technology, and Innovation (NPSTI) 2021-2030, the Science, Technology & Innovation Master Plan (2020-2030), which are in line with the 17 UN’s SDG; and
Provided analytical input on STI policy for various national and international bilateral and multilateral visits.
Ministry of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change (MESTECC), Putrajaya
Principal Assistant Secretary (M48) @ International Division – Represented MESTECC and the country in STI Trade matters, involvement with Multilateral Organizations, and the reviewing/ implementation of the National Science Policies at an International Level, including United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) implementation in the country via UNESCO events in Malaysia.
Achievements: Successfully organized programs/ trade activities such as:
Main Secretariat for the 14th Governing Council Meeting of NAM S&T Centre, (5th of September 2017);
Represented the country in the Meeting on the Implementation of OIC Science & Technology Agenda (Islamabad, Pakistan, 11– 12th December 2017);
Floor manager and promotional committee for the 7th ASEAN+3 Junior Science Odyssey (29th July – 4th August 2018);
Represented MESTECC in the APEC PPSTI meetings (Papua New Guinea, 12– 14th August 2018); and
Lead the STI trade delegation to the China-ASEAN Expo: Malaysian Pavilion (Nanning, China, 12– 15th of September 2018).
Assignments: 1. Experienced in resource mobilization strategies via strong partnerships during the implementation of various programs and activities.
Department of Women’s Development, Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development (MWFCD), Putrajaya, Malaysia
Director of Capacity Development - Main responsibilities include project & event management, policy development, strategic planning on gender related issues and public administration including ICT delivery systems and social media utilization.
Achievements:
Received the Excellent Service Award (APC) in 2014.
Presented a country paper at the International Workshop on the Role of Women Leaders in Empowering Rural Women in the Context of Rights and Development Issues in Afro-Asian Region (Omdurman, Sudan, 20– 25th April 2011).
Represented the country at the 13th ASEAN Committee on Women (ACW) (Yangon, Myanmar, 13-14th October 2014).
Assignments:
Assimilated UN Women's vision for the International Women's Day celebrations and programs in Malaysia;
Co-operated with civil societies and private bodies on cooperating in various projects;
Involved in the development of the "National Action Plan to Empower Single Mothers" (NAPESM) which was a collaboration between Malaysia's United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Ministry of Women, Family, and Community Development; and
Collaborated with researchers in Impact studies on gender-related programs implemented nationwide, including income-generating activities for single mothers, legal literacy for rural and urban women, mindset change programs, carnivals, workshops, and social programs implemented by civil societies from government grants.
Poverty Eradication Division, Ministry of Rural & Regional Development (MRRD), Putrajaya, Malaysia
Main responsibilities: Designing, planning, implementing, reporting, and assessing the impact of poverty eradication programs nationwide.
Achievements:
Received the Excellent Service Award (APC) from the Ministry in 2009.
Represented the country at the Seminar on China-ASEAN Poverty Policy and Practice for Government Officials (Nanning, China, 11-29th November 2009).
Assignments:
1. Presented country papers for various international workshops, meetings, and conferences in Nanning, China, and locally in Malaysia.
2. Co-operated with agencies giving talks and presenting papers to various ASEAN, and AARDO countries.
3. Collaborated with researchers on the impact of various poverty eradication programs that were implemented nationwide, and researched the development of Malaysia's Poverty Line Indicator (PLI) for the rural community.
